Sooty Bark Disease: protecting trees and people – a ‘lunch and learn’ workshop

Tree Council event

Thursday 13th February 1-1.45pm - online

Hear about ongoing research on Sooty Bark Disease (SBD) by Forest Research, The Tree Council, and Botanic Gardens Conservation International.

The team will present early insights from this research, which has examined the evidence on the prevalence and impacts of this tree disease in the UK.

They will reflect on the current gaps in knowledge and opportunities to improve reporting of SBD. There will also be the chance to help shape new guidance and future research to ensure it meets the needs of professionals working in the sector. They’re keen to hear what you need to know to identify and manage the effects of SBD.
