FISA ceased to offer the Chainsaw Refresher Training in November 2021
Lantra provides the following +F Chainsaw Refresher courses to meet industry requirements and those set out in the HSE guidance document on “Chainsaws at Work”.

These courses are delivered with a forestry context by instructors who have gained additional accreditation to ensure they have the desired level of skills, knowledge, and experience in forestry.
The chainsaw competency system remains in development with the FISA Chainsaw Working Group and is currently being trialled on a limited number of pilot sites. Further updates on the development of this system will be provided over the coming months.
