Near miss – vehicle runs red light

Scottish Woodlands Health & Safety Toolbox Talk

A member of the public drove past a line of vehicles waiting at a red light, past the road sign warning of up to 15-minute delays, and past the manned traffic management vehicle, into an excluded work area.

At the time, active tree felling was taking place on the steep slope above the road. Fortunately, the carriageway was clear at the time of the incursion and the driver was unhurt.
