Scottish Woodlands Health & Safety Advice

Forestry has unique risks, potential crush injuries, blood loss, hypothermia etc and the remoteness of many of our worksites, our minimum standard provision is Emergency First Aid at Work, + Forestry, (in which the + Forestry element is integrated into the EFAW training and assessment day).

Digital/on line training is becoming freely available; BUT for subjects like first aid you need to look at the course content as to whether the course provides appropriate training.  This bulletin shared by Scottish Woodlands helps to explain this more.
