FISA Accord Manager Recruitment Update – January 2026

The Board wanted to give FISA members an update.

FISA commissioned an external review of its impact and effectiveness during the spring and summer of 2024. As part of this root and branch review, FISA members, industry stakeholders and colleagues were invited to take part.

The recommendations of which have focused the Steering Group and Board since their presentation in Summer 24.

One area of focus was the changing organisational needs of FISA, as its influence and role develop.

The Board was tasked by the Steering Group to examine future leadership models alongside the needs of the Accord. FISA has been demanding more time (and ultimately resource) from the CEO.

This led to a proposal from the Board to the Steering Group on 17 September 2025 for the Accord Manager Role to be a full time employed position to serve the developing needs of FISA.

The Steering Group then asked the Board to draft a job description for discussion at the December 25 meeting. This draft description was circulated on 24th November prior to the 9th December Steering Group meeting, it was discussed and accepted with no objections. The recruitment process then began.

Shortlisting from the considerable pool of applicants is forthcoming, followed by interviews planned for mid-February.
