New FISA Safety Guide - September 2026

This is a new guide intended for anyone specifying, approving, managing or carrying out drone operations, including equipment operators, supervisors, contractors and those working in the vicinity of a drone.

This Bulletin provides guidance on what you need to consider before working on site with fire-damaged trees.

This Technical Note has been revised to redefine the chainshot risk/exclusion zone from a flat 70m minimum to the greater of 90m, the manufacturer's risk zone, or two tree lengths plus boom length, with slope now an explicit factor.
