Safe Working Distances – Use of Flail Head

A FISA member has shared this safety alert on Safe working distances for use of flail head.

  • The flail head struck a piece of wire which had not been spotted during the pre-works checks.
  • The wire was thrown approximately 38m outside of the working area and struck a parked car on the far side of the road working area.
  • No-one was injured in this incident.
