Timber Transport Forum

Thanks to Scottish Forestry we now have an STTS grant available to support the fitting of strap auto tensioner systems to timber lorries.  Three awards of up to £5000 are available to Scottish-based companies, one grant per company.  This is a one-off support is to demonstrate the technology.  I don’t expect grant support to be ongoing thereafter.

Deadline for applications 30th October 2020 and systems must be fitted by February 2021.

You can find the details and the application form at https://forestry.gov.scot/forestry-business/timber-transport/strategic-timber-transport-scheme/funding-to-demonstrate-auto-tensioner-systems

A video showing the sort of system is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKOir0zKm-A&feature=youtu.be
