Tetanus

FISA Safety Alert

We received a phone call recently from a fencer offering information to share with the industry following an incident that resulted in cuts to his hand during stripping rusty fencing.  This was a minor injury, but it did require medical attention and questions around tetanus vaccinations were raised.  The following information on tetanus may be of help.

If you have a cut or wound where there has been significant contact with soil or manure, its best to get medical advice, a further vaccination for tetanus may be given.
