Man electrocuted by powerline while cutting trees, inquest hears

Fatal electrocution in November 2020 when using tree-cutting machinery close to an 11,000 Volt powerline.

FISA 804 Electricity at Work details safe working practices to be followed by those working on forest operations near overhead power lines (OHPLs) and underground electricity cables, who are not working for the Network Operator.

The HSE fatal notification issued at the time of the incident in November 2020 is attached below.
