FISA Safe Access Report

Updated Feb 2023

February 2023 - FISA Forest Haulage WG provide an update to the safe access report to include vehicle recovery.

FISA has updated the Safe Access report.  This moves the reporting of a ‘road defect’ to ‘safety reporting’ document.

Road defects do not repair themselves and almost always develop into a situation that compromises safety for the HGV driver and all other forest road users.

The document is intended to be downloaded and used by all forest users - drivers, haulage companies, contractors and FWM’s and provides a robust basis for evidencing the early reporting of problems.
