CAT and Genny training query

Following the initial FISA Electrical & Utilities Awareness Events, we are receiving queries asking about training for CAT & Genny use (for locating underground services).  This equipment is routinely used in the construction industry, so many construction industry training providers will provide this training.  One such provider is Sygma Solutions.  

Some CAT manufacturers offer free training when the instruments are purchased through them.

However, as with any equipment, unless you are a regular user you should consider hiring a competent organisation to undertake this work on your behalf.
