Petzyl GRILLON lanyard

Scottish Power Safety Alert

Petzl has requested the inspection of various GRILLON products following the detection of ropes mounted incorrectly within the Grillon rope grab. This manufacturing defect results in the product not activating its blocking function, which can result in a risk of injury.

GRILLON products manufactured between October and December 2023 may be affected. Check the red sleeve on the lanyard for the date of manufacture.

Recommendations and action points are shared in the alert.
