This FISA Safety Guide guide has been updated and reformatted.

The main change is to felling and processing guidance, where chainsaw risk-zone rules have been replaced with a single chainshot risk-zone requirement (the greater of 90m, the manufacturer's risk zone, or two tree lengths plus boom length), supported by a new operator warning and a shot-cone diagram; the minimum driving distance from power line barriers has also increased from 6m to 10m.
