Coronavirus (Covid-19)

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to escalate, FISA  will continue to follow Government recommendations and would like to outline to members measures that we have put in place for the coming weeks:

  • FISA Working Group meetings/ FISA Steering Group meetings will be facilitated by digital means (conference calls & IT methods of file sharing for circulation of papers).  Any consultations/recommendations will be shared with FISA members via our email system.
  • A round-up of FISA Working Group Health & Safety topics will shortly be circulated to all FISA Members on the FISA email system so you can see what topics are critical to you.
  • All planned current events will be postponed (FISA Welsh GMHSF follow on workshops; Traction Assist Pilot event; Steep Ground SHAD); with new later dates circulated when these can be arranged in a safe environment.

For general FISA enquiries please continue to contact:  info@ukfisa.com

Confor has set up a Covid-19 webpage at www.confor.org.uk/covid-19 which will provide business-related and sector information, frequently asked questions and links to relevant websites. There is a FAQ section which will be updated regularly and in response to questions. Please direct any questions to C19Qs@confor.org.uk.

Training courses - If you have recently applied for a FISA training course,  dates will not be issued until we have a clear picture of when we can arrange to run the course in a safe environment. For those courses already arranged directly with FISA these will be postponed and you will hear directly from the FISA training administrator.  If you have booked a course privately with your own trainer, please contact your trainer to find out about your course. For training enquiries please contact: training@ukfisa.com

Wishing you and your loved ones very good health and keep safe over the coming weeks and months.
